River City Dancing With The Stars Teaches Local Leaders All About Ballroom Dance

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - MAR 10, 2022 -- Who will be named River City’s favorite dancer and win the coveted mirrorball trophy? As the Jacksonville Children's Chorus (JCC) is preparing for the upcoming 2022 River City Dancing With the Stars competition, this year’s stars have been putting in work on their showcase dances.

Along with weekly practices at the dance studio, each star will be raising money to help support the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus. At rehearsals, each star has been given the opportunity to share their experience competing in River City Dancing with the Stars so far. Star contestant Whitney Meyer, Senior Vice President and Chief Community Impact Officer of the Jacksonville Jaguars says, “While learning a new dance, I learned a little bit more about myself. I’ve discovered what makes me tick and what makes me stay focused”.

The 2022 River City Dancing with the Stars event will be held at the UNF Lazzara Performance Hall on April 30, 2022. Doors open at 6:00pm and the show begins at 6:30pm. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Jacksonville Children's Chorus’ singer scholarships and ongoing programs. Visit the event website at rivercitydwts.com for ticket purchases and more information.
